My Sony Bloggie Touch HD pocket Camcorder broke 3 weeks ago and I needed to get a new camera to record YouTube videos with. I didn't want to spend too much and at the same time I thought it would be nice to get one camera that can also take decent pictures since when I had the Sony Bloggie I still kept an older Canon PowerShot SD600 ELPH around just for taking still photos. Rather than use one camera for stills and another for doing video I thought it would be nice to have one camera that could do both. So the Canon PowerShot A2200 caught my attention. It was just released recently and got good reviews for the price. This camera only costs between 0 and 0 at the time of this video. The camera really does have some decent specs considering the budget price. It's got 4x optical zoom, 28mm wide lens, macro, 14.1MP sensor, 2.7" LCD, Canons Digic 4 processor, 1600 ISO, face detection/smile detection, and most importantly for me takes 720p video at 30fps. The camera comes with a Li-Ion battery, charger, USB cable, AV cable and software but requires an SD card witch is NOT included. The video quality might not be quite as good as the Sony Bloggie Touch HD when the Sony was at it's best BUT it's very good overall. It's decent in low light levels and the microphone does a fine job. Just like the Sony the mic picks up your voice even behind the camera and unlike the Flip UltraHD it doesn't clip (crackle and pop) when you're too close witch you are when you're the one holding ...
